Flagrunner tips
Always remember it is a team game and all your efforts are for the team.
Regularly check the map on the command screen for the location of flag/flags and to learn the topography of the combat area.
Constantly run fast (with knife, handgun, or grenade in hand) in a zig zag pattern. This makes it harder for opponent snipers to hit you.
Focus on your objective -- do not reveal your position by unnecessary shooting.
Always be ready to backup and give fire support to any team member that is attempting to capture a flag.
Do not snatch indisposed teammates flags, unless it is a real danger for the flag being taken by opponent soldiers.
When running a flag, always take safe routes and avoid high ground and areas where soldiers from opposing force are likely to show up.
Although running flags are the main task, defending can sometimes be more crucial, especially if you are one of many flagrunners on the team. Defense actions are: defending a remaining flag or securing your home base.
Save lost flags you run across, but only when it is safe or if it makes it very hard for enemy to win game. Remember that saving a flag always reveals your position.

Multi-player tips
You can drop through some roofs by laying down, then holding [Lef + [End].
Go under a dock, then lay down and go towards the shore. You can go though the docks this way if you stop in the middle of the dock when you are going through. You can shoot others, but they cannot shoot you.
To get in boats when there is no dock, go the side net and stick your head out of the water. Then press [End] three or four times and you can climb in.
If you can see the underside of a building, you can go though it insteadd of using a door.
If a delay grenade hits a man in the head while underwater, it will kills immediately when it hits and not a few seconds later.
When you drop a satchel charge in the water, it does not have a drop time. It will go straight to the ground when dropped.
Satchel charges go though roofs when underwater.
You can swim thought most roofs that are underwater.

Multi-player: Unlimited ammunition
Find an armory, then switch your gun or something else and change back. Then, select "Request Weapons" and then you have all you ammunition back.

Sniper tips
When sniping in multi-player mode, it is best to do the following. Always snipe from tall grass or off the side of a hill. Never snipe in plain sight or from an easily viewed place, such as the top of a hill. When you see or hear shots fired at you, either duck and wait for at least twenty seconds, or run and find a new location. It is wiser to run to a new place, since the person who is shooting at you is going to either do it again, or find you. Also while sniping, it is wise to either place two claymores behind you (facing away from you) or to lay on two satchels. This "revenge" tactic works because if you use the claymores, you will get the guy for even thinking of killing you; or if you use the satchels, you can ignite them immediately after you are killed, respawn, and kill your killer. Also, do not shoot rapidly or you will give you position away. Another way to catch the someone trying to kill you is to use one of the third person view perspectives while shooting to see what os going on around you. As for assaulting or flag running, jump a lot.

Press ` to display the console (the key below [Esc] and to the left of 1). Then, type one of the following codes and press [Enter] to activate the corresponding cheat function.
