     This article describes the procedures of increasing the functionality of JSP technologies by customizing the JSP tags. The article discusses the ways to add more complex logic to the JSPs, to take firmer control over data display and sharing data among the tags. The article also provides few examples of custom JSP tags which will enable front-end developers to control data to be processed in back-end Java components without requiring any Java code in the JSP page.
