     GetDate is a date program that offers six different format options for displaying date on your website. It is written in perl. For working with this script after editing the file, you can decide on the format that you want the date to be displayed in. After this you will put the file in cgi-bin and then the extension of the webpage is changed to shtml from html and a specific line is added to the html code for the script to take effect. This script is released under GNU License and is used as SSI.
