Eventhough there are multiple task to link to a database, the author shows the uniqueness of connecting databases using OLEDB. The main advantage of this OLEDB is, it can access to all data types. The author highlights the benefit of it as it could provide access to disconnected data stores also. At the end of this article the author shows the performance comparison in between OLEDB and DSN.
